Da-Com is a customer-focused company, now in its second
century serving the document management needs of St.
Louis area businesses. Originally known as Data Communications,
the firm was purchased in 1993 by Jack Tipton and re-named
Da-Com Corporation. The company has grown every year
since. Da-Com continues to be family owned and operated.
John Tipton serves as Da-Com President. Bill Tipton
serves as Vice-President for Customer Service and Support.
Terry Bean, Jack’s son-in-law, serves as Vice-President
of Finance and Administration.
Da-Com is the area distributor of Ricoh-Lanier copiers,
printers, and fax machines in the greater St. Louis area. The
firm also distributes Riso, Standard, and Toshiba lines to about
5,000 customers in a 120-mile radius of St. Louis, and
designs and builds computer networks. Clients include
Fortune 500 companies, private businesses, schools and
not-for-profit organizations.

award for 19 consecutive years. In fact, in an independent
